Nice to e-meet you

There was no back up plan.

Opening Photoshop for the first time in 1996, I was hooked. Before that day, I knew I wanted to create art on a computer for a living, but had no idea where to even begin (remember we didn't have the internet to show us the way). Fast forward 20+ years I can say I have had a wide variety of experiences and each one has built upon who I am as an artist, as a creative contributor, and as a problem solver.

I had many people tell me to have a back up plan because art is not a "real job", and I had two jobs as backups however they never went further than thought. They were  just jobs, and art is more than a career. It's part of everything I think about all day long.

When an idea takes hold in my head, it sometimes hurts when I have not stopped to put it down on paper, digital or physically. This is what I am supposed to be doing.
